August Camping 2015

This August, the troop heads to beautiful Rock Cut State Park for our monthly campout.  The Park is located north of Rockford.

The theme for this month is “Anything That Floats!”  We will be swimming, boating and fishing at Pierce Lake in the park.  There is a $3 charge to swim at the lifeguard protected beach.  Families are encouraged to join us on Saturday afternoon.  We will be serving dinner cooked by the Scouts and adult leaders between 5 and 6 PM.  Families may choose to stay overnight and camp or return home, as they like.

Here’s this month’s Permission Slip.  It is due on August 10 along with $15 cash to the patrol leader.
