HELP WANTED: ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EAGLE PROJECT THIS SUNDAY

Hello Everyone!

Chris J here, with a reminder that I am leading my Eagle Project this weekend.

This Sunday, August 10th from 2 PM to 3:30 PM, I will be executing the distribution phase of my Eagle Project. The goal of my project is to increase the public awareness of the proper way to dispose/recycle electronics. We have had an Electronics Recycling Drop-Off facility in Grayslake for a few years now, but old TVs, computers, and other various electronics are still seen at the side of the road.

On Sunday, the plan is to increase awareness of the Drop-Off facility by having scouts going door-to-door providing informational flyers on where, when, and how residents can recycle old and unused electronics.

It would be awesome if you could join in, so come out and help!

We will meet at my house, where we have had PLC meetings in the past.  If you need the address or directions then please contact me via the information below.

There will be snacks and drinks for everyone that helps out.

I hope to see you all there!

Yours in scouting,

Chris J
