The 2017-2018 Camping Calendar is now live. Make sure you add all these dates to your family calendars so you don’t miss out. Our October Zip Line campout is sure to be one to remember. Get ready for an amazing weekend experiencing fall colors from a completely new angle. Experience our most thrilling Eco Adventure with the 2 to 2 1/2-hour guided Canopy Tour. Soar through the fall colors on 8 different zip lines, 5 sky bridges, 3 spiral stairways and a one-of-a-kind “floating” double helix stairway which wraps around a breathtaking ash tree. The 1,200-foot Racing Zip Line is the grand finale!
The troop is subsidizing ziplining so the fee is only $40. Food will still be $15. ($55 total for zipline and food) This is a great deal. Because of this special activity, we need everyone to sign-up two weeks early. Please signup by 10/9.Ziplining not your style? Download the order form and bring it to any troop meeting through Oct 2. Orders placed by Oct 2 will be delivered for you to wear at the Webelos Invitational Campout in November.
This month, we head back to Wisconsin for a weekend of climbing and hiking at Devil’s Lake State Park. The troop will camp in nearby Mirror Lake State Park on Friday and Saturday.
Permission Slips are due on Sept 11, along with a waiver document (also available at the Troop Meeting). Scouts pay $15 cash to their patrol for two members of the patrol to do the grocery shopping for the campout.
