This month, in the depths of winter, we head to Camp Oakarro for the Gold Rush. With our patrol sleds, we’ll take on the challenges of the Klondike Derby.
Scouts from all over northeast Illinois will try to outdo each other with their skills and showmanship.
We will camp at Camp Oakarro on Friday and Saturday nights and take part in the Klondike on Saturday.
Cost is $15 for food, plus $5 for the event. (The troop will pay another $12 for each Scout).
