Feed My Starving Children Service Project
We had fifteen participating from Troop 96 for the OA FMSC on Saturday, Dec 17th in Libertyville. The OA Lodge set a new third place record at FMSC in Libertyville!!
During the two hours I got to hold a bag for the ingredients to go in and weigh the bag to make sure the bag doesn’t weigh too much. You can do many jobs to help your team by helping to pack the ingredients, weigh the ingredients, pour in the ingredients, and labeling the boxes for each team. The goal is to pack as many bags as you can within the two hours you have. You have to work as a team and have a team cheer each time you pack a full box. Before you even start the crew members pick people to help carry the heavy boxes of the ingredients. You always have to wear a hair net all the time to make sure you get none of your hair in the ingredients. I had a lot of fun during the two hours. You get a lot of experience working with other people and learning how to work as one team.
