BSA has introduced a new youth leadership troop position: Games Wizard. The Games Wizard is responsible for organizing and running all troop games at troop meetings and campouts. One of the requirements is to develop new games using virtual technology and computers. Other new options include field games like paint ball blitz and water cannons. Have you ever considered becoming a Den Chief to help Cub Scouts in a nearby Pack? If YES, the time is now. Talk to SPL Nick G and ask to be appointed to this troop position then attend Den Chief training on April 12 from 1-4 pm. Cost is $5 and you register with Council. A Den Chief is an older Boy Scout whose job it is to help Cub Scouts achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting, help with their activities at den meetings, be a good example through attitude and uniforming, be a friend to the boys in the den, help lead weekly den meetings and help the den in its part of the monthly pack meeting – and more.
