A deposit of at least $50 from each Scout and adult planning to go to Summer Camp is due. We are now enrolling participants in the Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Summer Camp registration system run by our Council.
Cost for one week at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan, including camping, food and transportation, is $335 while two-weeks is $620. Adult leaders pay $145 per week. Your total fee may increase due to any other activities that you choose to sign up to do (some examples are the fees for supplies purchased at the trading post for merit badges, charges for Order of the Arrow membership, costs for whitewater rafting, shooting sports and horsemanship). Deposits are due now and the final amounts will need to be paid prior to May 12 (that is only a few weeks away) in order to avoid a late fee from Council. Deposits can be made at an upcoming troop meeting. Don’t forget: Scouts can use their Scout Accounts to help cover summer camp costs. See Dave Cibula to make your deposit and ensure your spot at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan this summer.
